We have reduced our environmental impact on this product
We have improved this product by taking an eco-design approach regarding the material of the tank top which is knitted with three yarns that are more eco-friendly: recycled cotton, recycled polyester and Lyocell.These three eco-designed yarns represent at least 87% of the weight of the tank top.
Why choose recycled cotton?
At least 19% of the weight of the tank top is recycled cotton.To preserve the durability, performance and softness of our products during your hikes, we incorporate 30% recycled cotton fibres from industrial scraps or end-of-life textiles into the virgin cotton fibres. By using this method, we can reduce the impact of growing new cotton fibres.
WHY CHOOSE RECYCLED POLYESTER?
At least 36% of the tank top weight is recycled polyester.By recycling plastic bottles or used fabrics to produce our polyester, we reduce the use of petrol-based resources while maintaining the material s quality and performance for your hikes.
Why choose Lyocell?
At least 32% of the weight of the tank top is Lyocell.Lyocell is a 100% biodegradable cellulose fibre made from wood pulp (mainly eucalyptus but also oak or birch) in a quasi-closed circuit. The production is respectful of the environment through the use of non-toxic and recyclable solvents.
The blend of cotton polyester and Lyocell creates softness. The scoop back and ventilated jacquard panel are perfect for warm weather!
