Responsible design: We are reducing the environmental impact by dyeing the thread at the source
Dyeing textiles requires large amounts of water, chemicals and energy. To reduce this impact, we use the dope dyeing technique. This involves adding powdered pigments during the process of manufacturing the thread (rather than by immersing it in dye baths, as would usually be the case). This technique reduces the amount of water we use, and therefore the amount of wastewater we produce, when colouring our fabrics.
