Frame
6061 T6 aluminium frame—lightweight, dynamic and sturdy. The very simple, patented lateral folding system means it takes up very little space: at home, at the office, in the boot of a car or in a camper… you ll forget your bike is even there. Once folded, the size of the bike is reduced by two thirds, and a locking system on the frame and stem keep the bike folded and make it easy to move and transport.
Drive train
Thanks to a 7-speed Shimano SIS, the Hoptown 500 easily adapts to most gradients. The Shimano Revo-Shift grip shifter is ergonomic and precise. Metres of development: 2.96m 5.90m.
Brakes
Steel V-brake and callipers guarantee effective and progressive braking.
Fork
Hi-ten steel fork for greater durability.
Handlebar stem steering
Slightly raised handlebars for a good cycling position and to improve the manoeuvrability of the bike. Handlebar width: 560 mm. The handlebars are equipped with a 60mm rise to easily adjust position backwards or forwards. Aluminium stem fixed in place with rapid locking mechanism for greater rigidity compared to a height-adjustable stem. Ergonomic grips. Distance from saddle to handlebar: 540 mm. Bottom bracket to saddle distance: 480mm to 700mm. Semi-integrated headset.
Saddle Seat post
Comfortable, seamless foam saddle to stop water getting in. Anti-theft and anti-rotation seat post measuring 31.6mm in diameter.
Wheels
20 , single rim, black anodised wall.
Tyres
Urban tyres 20 x 1.75 skinwall. We have developed these tyres to achieve the best balance between performance, weight, and grip.
Crankset
The fold-up pedals reduce bulk when the bike is folded. Once the pedals are folded up and the stem folded down, the bike can be stored against a wall and takes up very little space (26 cm wide). Cranks: 165 mm.
Accessories equipment
Spoke-mounted mudguard, double chainguard This bike is compatible with the Tilt transport cover and the Btwin pannier rack for foldable bikes. The front of the bike can be fitted with an additional VIOO Clip light.
Compatibility
This product has a hook for attaching a VIOO Clip, an LED light that can be clipped on anywhere and unclipped in an instant. With a red or white light that can be used in continuous or flashing mode, you are clearly visible from up to 120m away. Battery life is 9 hours in flashing mode, 4½ hours in continuous mode. Easy to recharge via a USB cable (sold with the VIOO Clip).
