SOFT FEEL technology
The SOFT FEEL technology (made with 11% balsa), created in collaboration with our Research & Development Centre, greatly absorbs the racquet s vibrations upon impact with the ball. It confers a much more comfortable feel and dampens vibrations.
Balance
The 32.5 cm head-light balance makes the TR500 Lite a versatile and easy-to-handle racquet. You ll find it easier to manoeuvre the racquet and place the ball where you want it to go. As a guide: < 32 cm: Head-light balance, easy to handle, 32 cm – 33 cm: Even balance and versatile, > 33 cm: Head heavy, powerful.
MANOEUVRABILITY (SWING WEIGHT)
A racquet s manoeuvrability depends on the player s feeling of being able to swing the racquet through the air. It is characterised by an indicator called the swing weight (SW). The higher the SW, the harder the racquet will be to manoeuvre. Overall, the SW for adult racquets (unstrung) varies from 200 to 300 kg cm². This racquet has an SW of 235, making it especially easy to handle. As a guide: SW<250: easy to handle, 250-270: a powerful racquet.
HEAD SIZE
With the 660 cm² head size, the TR500 offers a good balance between control and forgiveness.As a guide: < 630 cm²: small head size, a greater feeling of control, 630 cm² – 660 cm²: medium head size, versatile (balance between control and forgiveness), > 660 cm²: large head size, more forgiving.
